Richard is guest researcher in the Web Information Systems group at the Delft University of Technology and works as freelancer for TNO. Furthermore, he is co-founder and shareholder of Greetinq, a multi-award winning voicemail service for MVNOs, where he was director of operations for the last five years. In 2011, Richard graduated with a master degree in computer science at Delft University of Technology within the Web Information Systems group lead by Geert-Jan Houben. During his thesis Richard conducted research for TNO on the topic of "exploiting Twitter to fulfill information needs during incidents". Previously, he worked for Air-France/KLM, Innopay and various smaller organizations, while being a freelance web developer in his spare time.
