1 This is funny. Its amazing though, some people will actually answer their cell phones or turn the fucking thing off.
5 This taught me nothing, people make subtle mistakes at interview. Nobody is that over exaggerated and the 'good' guy is basically average. You don't get jobs being average.
6 Why the Christ is this terrible video part of the UK BTEC I.T syllabus? surely they could have chosen a better video, one which is in, say, a decent resolution.
9 I teach ESL and that was pretty funny to show my students as an example of terrible interview skills. The sound quality is really bad when played through speakers, but the English was much too hard for them so they wouldn't have understood it anyway. They still got a lot of laughs out of the visuals, up through the cell phone part, and were able to identify many of the applicant's interviewing mistakes. Thanks for the fun video.
10 come see my job interview come see my job interview come see my job interview it's called Boss Boss Baby Boss Boss Baby
12 I will say both are bad.. If you focus more on the guy, he kept shakking his legs very often so thats not a good sign in an interview
15 ** for funny actual hidden phone camera footage of real interview in London take a quick look at my channel under documentary playlist, where i secretly film my job interview by resting phone on table against wallet facing interviewer, i thought it would be funny to see the shit that ended up being said, i nearly get caught out
16 @superwoofer21 that part when she answers her phone was just retarded, AHHHHHH! someone's calling me! the person giving the interview must think she's psychopathic
17 I'm surprised her resume wasn't between here titties! Ha, honestly people act like this?
20 hahaha... the interviewee asked the first question and it is related to the salary! overconfidence is not as desirable as its counterpart. thanks for putting a line between a bad interview and a good one. =) Also, I encourage everyone to watch "jobseeker revolution" video. You will love it especially if you are in a job hunt. helpful
26 OK - So even if your name is Sweeny Todd or Freddie Kruger or Crazy Mad Axemurderer, if you dress well and present yourself well then you will probably land a job!
30 Job interviews are like any other skill in life, the more you practice, prepare, and do them, the better you will get at them. If you want to open up the door to other career opportunities, take it upon yourself to get better at them now.
31 I hate job interviews, I've never been able to get a job via one. I just depend on employment agencies and cash in hand jobs doing what I can.
32 To be honest, I probably wouldn't hire either one of them. The girl is obvious, but the guy's leg twitching bothered me, as did his leaning forward in the chair, and he focused too much on his past. I want to hear what he's going to do with the job available, not so much what he has done. How well he works with others is also important. He also seems a bit too full of himself ("advanced," "I was in charge," etc). Tout your experience or skills, but don't go overboard about yourself.
35 this is so damn funny! lol the first woman is totally a good actress! she's crazy!
40 And that's exactly what I showed that elementary school kid, how to act and how not to act when he goes for that all important intake interview.
42 The Highschool where the video was shot is known for being haunted by the ghost of a former student. The door just opened all of a sudden......of-course it might just not have been closed all the way to begin with, but where is the fun in that story.
43 Overacting was the call of the day. Over the top to illustrate what not to do. At the highschool level the comedy works like a charm.
45 the interviewer was convincing but the interviewee was over acting big time
50 Man! You are way too smart for youtube. And here we thought no one would catch on to the fact we were exaggerating. Over the top for comic sense not for reality. Although, I've seen just about every wrong move in this "skit" at one point or another. I'm guessing you though Python was as absurd.
52 yo that was kinda sorta exaggerated but u know what there are hella dumb ass beezy'z(bitches) like that hahaha that really act like they're applying at a strip club lmao yo bravo
54 You wanna know something? It wasn't that exaggerated. Some of the things people have said and done in interviews have made me shake my head in amazement.
57 Ahhh, there is no fooling you. Obviously exagerated is an understatement. It was done for highschool students by high school students to illustrate what not to do in an interview. It was over the top to make it funny and be more entertaining for kids in grade 10,11 and 12.
63 Its a shame it's not in my office because I'd say 'GET OF MY OFFICE YOU ARROGANT BITCH! '
68 Nice video.I am just wonder what the girl sayed when the phone rang?Smth like (I little pick a bil)? Am i right?:)
74 Yes! Inside joke. I do not think the students realized at the time who I was referrencing. Anytime you can slip a character like Todd into an educational video....go for it.
76 Well yeah if you want to get all literal and stuff...Up is down, black is white, the beginning is the end, and so on and so on. the Good and the Bad has a nicer ring to it...like the good the bad and the ugly. Maybe I should add the ugly...
78 Hello atlanticcanuck. The video is great. I'm a high school teacher and would love to show this video in my cooperative education class (job interviewing unit) but can't because it's within YouTube. Is there any way I can receive a copy of this video to use in my class? Would greatly appreciate it. BG
79 We sure did! But it was student driven and they created a scene that was funny to watch but at the same time easy to spot the blunders. That said, I was on an interview board a few weeks back and the woman's cell phone rang. She tried to ignore it, but they called back. Hard to recover from that one.
82 Actually, when they are up for a job, not really. otherwise a lot of American's are dumb. I know, I am American.
83 lol - great stuff. Dare I say, I think most Americans are like the first example? ^_^;
84 Damn Straight Babe. Damn Straight.
88 That's the point entirely; it was made by high school students for high school students to emphasize common first time interview mistakes. The over the top approach provides the humour while pointing out the inappropriate behaviour. Of-course, not everyone shares the same sense of humour.
89 Thats absolutely ridiculous. Come on its a bit overdone and not realistic
96 @UniqueWind I feel it is really important to engage the interviewer. It's important to ensure your answers do not come across as scripted, which his did. Another way to be engaging is to look alert and bright by smiling a lot. This helps to keep focus. He looks tired and run-down. I am not saying that because he is over weight but he needs to work on presentation. I am not saying it is appropriate to dress in a suit every time, but dressing in a clean and sharp style could also help.
98 This would have gone much better like this: Interviewee: I'm a team player, dammit. Interviewer: GTFO! .....so where have you travelled? Interviewee: I don't, basetball doesn't allow travelling, you dweeb.
99 I thought he did pretty pretty good except for that Pen. It seemed like that was the main thing I focused on. He was definitely more job focused during the interview rather than self focused which I thought was a plus.
100 Not fantastic...average? I wouldn't be convinced after this performance...I like how he detailed his military experience, but everything else seemed mediocre.
104 I've come to the conclusion after many interviews and working for a number of companies that the people doing the interviewing have no clue whatsoever. I believe a 10 year old could probably do a better job at hiring people than most "professionals".
107 I honestly thought from the beginning this was going to show incorrect behaviors then how the interview would have been participated in properly by the applicant! Check out Dale Carnagies Pathways to success! His fidgiting annoyed me the most I think, put the pen down lol!!!
109 strange...is this a lie? which company is this? some super giant store? If I heard you was interviewing so many people - I would get doubt straight away to not to go to you, cause it shows your lack of management skills...remember this baby personal qualities is very short leaved...
110 no wonder your company is eternally hiring because you keep on hiring the wrong people.
111 I am on the interview panel team for a company that recruits over 500 people a week. If I were interviewing this guy I would find him very 'run of the mill' and forgettable. Although his answers were reasonably good, he didn't show any personality or show himself to be any different to the other 15000 applicants who apply.
115 A good example of sucessful interview. The interview process went very fluently. The interviewee gave proper and positive answers to all the questions.
117 Excellent attitude and good answers, I am sure that after this example I'm going to be available to make and impact in my next interview.
118 Don't be nervous, good managers don't want your interview to be painful. Preparation is a must! It will help with nervousness.
124 If you want to succeed in the corporate world read "The Banker Who Saved His Soul" - it'll give you an inside look and perspective that will make a difference in your career.
127 I think this is the best example for a person who is not seeking a job at a beginner level. thank U for the tips.
129 @JesusonlyYou1 you actually stopped to interview to rock back and forth and ask for help ........
131 At one job interview I went to, the employer had the nerve to interrupt me when I was rocking back & forth talking to Jesus. Don’t they understand? Sometimes you just have to stop what you’re doing & ask Jesus for help.
132 @Chevy57l The funny part is that even if the person was UNDERqualified and did terribly, as long as they know someone, then they'd get the job.
136 I have registered in Jobtardis.co.uk and referred 2 friends. They pay me £.25 if my friend’s friend resume is downloaded by recruiter or employer. Jobtardis.co.uk is like money generator, they pay their members even before they get a job!!!!! Pay per resume feature is making me to earn money without even working all I did was just uploaded my resumes and now earning money!!!!!
137 Honestly... The 1st girl sucked too.. For a really good/professional company, she DEFINITELY did not seem confident enough.. She didn't even give any kind of examples on HOW she was organized and etc. Anyone can just SAY "I'm organized" ... Good idea for a video, but not the best example of a good interview...
139 @Chevy57l : In group discussion, first listen what are they talking and than you need to tell different topic but always talk about share and about stock exchange of related to company. UR ONLINE Friend john
149 Blond hair - blue eyes and big jugs! Its a reality - period! smh
150 Erm, both were pretty bad I think. The second way worse of course but... the first wouldn't get the job either I don't think.
153 UMMMM NEITHER?? LOL WTF WAS THAT THEY BOTH SUCKED..............the question was why do you wanna work for this company and her last response was, "ummm i dont know ....just cause" wooooow pls take this sample off its horrible.
154 Lol, the interviews were pretty short, seems to just show the basic questions in an interview and what to and what not to do in preparation and during an interview! A pretty good video overall!! Visit my channel and comment, rate, share and/or subscribe Thanx Taripre$
163 Im just a mare employee at this company but i did noticed that all the ones who got hired for the supervisors positions were the ones that knew the manager.
164 There are probably rules against actual companies filming interviews and releasing the videos, but examples of good and bad interviews would work better if the interviews were 'real.' Nobody would do as poorly as the second girl did, and plenty of people do what the first girl did and still get turned down.
166 My Video Talk is a great "Delivery Vehicle" AND "Content is KING!" SO, I have a business that produces content the easiest way possible - powerpointtoyoutube[dot]com Just record yourself giving YOUR presentation [with a Wal-mart C-270 HD webcam $29 or Logitech's BEST C-910 1080p HD webcam for about $65], send me the slides and audio track - 48 hours later for only $249 you'll have a Professionally produced Video to use on YouTube, your web page, on CD, DVD or in email
169 The girl with the pretty face gets the Job and will fail at putting the effort, while the hard worker with big tits can do the job 10x better than her, and has an attitude of not taking shit from anyone in the Company, and doesn't kiss ass to the bosses...The girl with big tits is awesome and has a hard work Ethic and a sense of humor. THEIR LOSS! Unfortunately the interviewer has a hard on for the pretty face, and hires her instead so that he can be super nice... to get into her pants.
177 yeah, the one with the biggest cliché always wins. this is funny because its true. oh so true. so true it's making me blue. in the face. from it being so true.
180 Phone rings: "Hold on one second!" ROFL!! I would have been like, "Heifer, get out of my office!"
183 It seemed like both interviews were bad. The first lady gave her resume and skills portfolio before the interviewer asked for them. She also used um, ah, and yeah words you should avoid. The other lady obviously did worst, but they were both pretty poor interviews.
187 What the fuck is this shit? These are fucking basics that if you do not know, you might as well go to the interview and say "FUCK YOU" and go kill yourself after. Not helpfull at all. I apologize to other readers but it pisses me off that I wasted time in such a decrepit video.
189 Both of those interviews were a little weak. The interviewer didn't seem like he was very involved. His style is what I'd expect from an interviewer who works for a scam company that targets college students.
195 okay this is so stupid........ if u learnt anything from this u have no hope of gettin a job anyway....... who the hell wasted their time on this..... i could do a better job wit a group of monkeys.........!!!!!
199 Thanks for this! It would have been better though if the person who got the job asked some questions about role and the company.
202 i believe both of the interviews were bad. The overal standard is crap. The other lady has just answered with a couple of simply words . i would not offer a job to any of the girls
203 "yea... exactly what i was looking for" "ok! *smacks on gum*"
207 the second interview is too funny. the guy was like - what are your best skills, do you have any of those. what flavor of gum is that. why do you want to work for this company , if you ever will. yeah exactly the answer i was looking for. i guess i'll never call you so....! lol
208 lol. great interview samples! the other girl is too cocky. I guess overconfidence will not work also. lol. well anyway, everyone should check out the "jobseeker revolution" video too. it will help a lot.
209 the first interview seems like she's patronizing him and the second one is not too much better.
218 The first one sounds better, but she too lacks skills that would hinder her to land a job in reality. No comments on the other one, she's after being on the dole forever or in line for it out of personal convenience.
225 What was the point of giving the portfolio if he is not even going to look at it?
227 I agree! This is rubbish! no way would she get a job like this in the real deal. "ooh look at me I can talk like bullet points"
228 both are bad. The first girl didnt answer in complete sentences and didnt elaborate her answers very well. Answering in short phrases is terrible
229 Wow, they were short. Before I saw the 2nd one I thought the first one was bad. First one gave too short of answers and 2nd one was just rude.
239 While this video demonstrates useful strategies for panel interviews, many schools utilize a new format of interview called Multiple Mini Interview. To learn more about the Multiple Mini Interview please watch: multiple mini interview: ultimate guide for MMI preparation.

243 I would ease up on the professionalism, it can come off as very professional but overall you are sacrificing character which In my personal opinion is more essential toward making a good first impression
247 If you want to succeed in the corporate world read "The Banker Who Saved His Soul" - it'll give you an inside look and perspective that will make a difference in your career.
249 mayb wid dis sort of preparation 1 can become a nurse, little else really
250 Sorry will, you're just too weird for this position.
253 his energy level is way down. I would hire someone who showed more enthusiasm, energy, confidence and intelligence
255 1) the handshake was too long 2) tell me about yourself did not say anything special 3) greatest strength was too general 4) explanation for favorite class?? seriously? ...ok had to stop it....would not hire you...sorry
260 this interview was shit lmao! wow, tell me about yourself and the idiot has a one line sentence, i graduated. lmao fail, what about character traits, professional 'previous experience etc. FAIL!
262 nursing assistant haha, nurse those big titties
268 The brevity of the answers and the bizarre mannerisms (e.g. sitting up way too straight with hands interlocked the entire time, lack of hand motions, lack of sincerity in tone) make this interview pathetic. In reality, this guy would only be hired if he had no competition.
269 Whats the weather like? UMM look out the fucking window you old bastard lol
278 I really like the smile of the woman
279 "hard-working" "get the job done," these are just hollow words that anyone can through around, instead you should be telling them about instances when you have demonstrated your hard-working nature or your ability to get a job done (properly). That picture you paint will speak louder than 1000 words like "hard-working," "eager," "motivated," etc.
283 why don't you demonstrate a better one then..easiest thing in the world is to mock others...
300 i have a concerned about what she say to the interviewer... INTERVIEWER: Can I know something about you? INTERVIEWEE: _______? My Name is.....0:34 On a blank,.. I put on the question mark that what she meantion about.
301 I hate that question "where do you see yourself in the next 5 years from now?"... hmmm.. hoping there's no more market crash and jobs don't go to Asia (in general), I hope to be still employed in my industry. Hows that for an answer ?
304 lolzz... it's seems like they memorized what? to say beforehand. just like programed robots are speaking to each other in Indian accent and pronunciation. :-) that really sucks. i am a Kuki and speak a pretty good American English
305 @deeprichads what she saying, you can offer me what to my ability and what company?
308 It's a big time suck interview ! No smile no facial expression.Everything goes like a mechanical :(
310 The candidate is at a super fault here in the beginning itself!! The answer to say something about yourself must not start with a "WELL" in the beginning of a statement. The candidate does not even smile and the whole thing is a just looking like a formal conversation with no professionalism going on...!! i mean come on!! we need to see something happening and natural!!!
311 I think is avery important topic to develop in an english class! It´s cool, go ahead....
312 I think is avery important topic to develop in an english class! It´s cool, go ahead....
314 Well , its good communication with conversion in interview for suitable job and excellent answer for expectation salary package. I like it.........
317 it's a perfect example of interview,,, i really learned a lot from this,, but i guess the girl should smile a bit
319 well, interviewers do ask, if the job suits your skill set.the reason behind asking this is to verify if a particular candidate is comfortable working, understanding the job knowledge and the effort and skills required to put in for the job.
320 The question Family Backround is asked in an interview , to understand the cultural background and the upbringing of an Candidate
321 I dont understand why they ask about family background in the interviews. How does it concern them? This video is lame.. and it shows the mistakes in the interviewing process in India.
322 And you cannot just say, I have experience in this field so I am good for this position. Many people might have experience in that field. You should specify what makes you unique. Never tell the job responsibilities only, when you are asked for the previous experience. Tell them the difficult tasks you handled.
323 Well, Interviewers wont ask you if the job suits your skill set. They will ask you if you are suitable for the job.
325 Hey! this is great! When responding to a job interview question, always remember to tailor your answer to the company or the job. This way the employer knows easily if you are highly qualified for the job or not. =) i also watch the "jobseeker revolution" video and it helps me realize that there is still hope in this economic recession. check the video out here in youtube.
331 Come on dude! Why are you asking Mr. George about "getting a job" [End Quote]? Why don't you just start your own business and be Self-Employed? Earning money isn't difficult; yet, keeping it is another matter. Remember! You've been programmed in America to work for someone else. Our whole educational system is geared toward getting a job and working for a lifetime. False hopes! You must be willing to work hard and smart to build a successful, profitable venture in Home Based Business.
334 if you think it will be impossible, then it will be impossible. I would suggest you change your thinking to be more positive. add up the skills you do have and then seek employment based on those skills. I have more interviewing help at job interview tools.
335 @DGeorgevich I have only worked at one place for 1 and a half years and been out of a job for 3 and a half years. (school and taking care of father who has cancer). I fear that this will make it impossible for me to get a job because the interviewer will see that I have pretty much no experience and been out of a job for so long. I also don't have any referrals as I don't remember any of the names of the people I worked with. Any tips on how I can get a job?
336 Dear Mr. Georgevich I have done my interview today for an airliner position which i had a former experience with it.However, I have failed to succeed. I feel they have sensed that there is something wrong with my leadership qualities. Nevertheless, I am know more determined to get ahead and thrive and would like to thank you for your valued advices.
337 slow down your rate of speech and that will give interviewers more time to digest what you are saying, even if you have an accent.
340 Brilliant! Thanks for the tips ;-) Very clear and simple! I wish I had instructors like you at school, it'd be easier to ace all my classes!
341 I've been interviewing candidates for over 20 years and I assure you these are excellent techniques. Now of course you need to say it with the right voice inflection for it to work. Giving just a monotone "I----make ----- my ----- managers ----- look ----- good" ---- just isn't going to cut it. I've personally known many people to use this answer and land the job. But like I said before, the magic is not just in the answer, but the delivery. It needs to be delivered with enthusiasm. cheers
342 It's actually really hard to make these videos for you :-) You wouldn't believe how many times I have to reshoot them. Even though I don't have the budget of a movie studio, the content is excellent which is all you really need. Enjoy!
344 I do not find that this is good insight. Most interviewers want you to expand on your experiences using situations and results you produced. I would warn anyone to use this smart-ass answer at the end about "making my managers look good." If someone said that to me, I would automatically throw their application in the trash.
345 you know what gtopcu your a ***** and you better shut up cuz don is soooooo awesome he got me a great job. the one I dreamed of having my whole life. so say what you want but don is better than u, richer than u, cooler than u. so shut up.
346 A round answer as he examples at the end of the video won't get you too far if you're a real professional in what you do.. You have to give more specific answers between your past, skillset, aims and the job description to successfully answer this question. This is my own personal opinion, and it always got me what I wanted.
350 Your insight is great - I for one would really appreciate some EXTENDED videos about interview process and other similar advice.
360 Your insight is great - I for one would really appreciate some EXTENDED videos about interview process and other similar advice.
361 The absolute best insight I have ever received into the interview process. Very straightforward and crisp - you are truly a genius at what you do!
362 Thank you so much, this is absolutely excellent and is a definite must see for grads. I hear your video and I feel so much more confident now and I was compelled to express my thanks.
368 def. the best interview video i've seen. It was easy to understand, to the point, and got me the job!
374 This helps me practice. I have a second interview for a job in two days, and I love how this video gets right to the point. Thank You!
377 Thank you so much, this is absolutely excellent and is a definite must see for grads. I hear your video and I feel so much more confident now and I was compelled to express my thanks.
378 The absolute best insight I have ever received into the interview process. Very straightforward and crisp - you are truly a genius at what you do!
382 Definitely one of the best videos i've seen regarding interviews. It was informative, brief and direct
388 This is probably one of the better videos out there. The bit about not rambling and how it should be a conversation is true. If you are at ease it'll put the interviewer at ease, make it a rememberable experience.
399 Mr. Alexander, Your videos are really motivating and easy to listen and practice. Thank YOU for them.
412 man im so nerves cuz i have interview today and my language is so bad so how can i pass it ?
414 great advise, thank you! staying with those 5 steps really helps. i got an interview tomorrow..lol. one question it hate the most is: tell me your weakness...god this is so old i wonder if it will ever go away.
423 I am pretty sure i will have an interview in a few hours, thanks for the information!
427 nice one! i have an interview coming up this thursday. wish me luck and pray for me +.+
445 When I’m rocking back & forth, talking to Jesus, I hate it when someone interrupts & feels they have to remind me we're in the middle of a job interview. Don’t they understand? Sometimes you just have to stop what you’re doing & talk to Jesus.
446 I've only been to two interviews. One asked "What song describes your life?" Honestly, how is anyone supposed to answer this? I haven't written a song about my life, so there isn't one. It's ridiculous to assume that someone knows the answer to this. The second one was "What's your favorite breakfast cereal and why?" I seriously don't understand these questions. Do they not want to hire people?
447 thank you lady you sound very young and have femininity in your voice
448 im sixteen and im going in an interview tomorrow for an advanced mechanical engineering apprenticeship at pilkingtons. i have a tour of the site, then 45 mins to prepare a speech about the site and add it to a presentation which i have already done. my presentation lasts aprox 10-15 mins then i have a 30 min interview straight after it. im terrifyed and it is my first interview.
449 I'm only 15 and i got a call back for a second job interview tmr. The first one was rly laid back and easy. Just remember to breathe, smile and act super polite and answer the questions carefully, it works :)
450 wew .. I was stunned by the question given to me ... and it was , "What do you think is the reason why we should not hire you?" waaahh!!! that made me blown into the air! ><,)
453 I'm 20 years old & today I'm going to face my first job interview of my life>>>>>>>>>>>
454 I'm 20 years old & today I'm going to face my first job interview of my life......
458 Thanks Liz, is a great thing to know some thing about interviews, and how to achieve a good job!
471 I got an interview Monday!!. I feel like i am going to choke on a question :/. ugh. its my first one too!!. I'm barely 18 lol
478 Thanks for this. Tell me about yourself should last 5 minutes? Thanks god i found that out was gonna be 1 minute lol
481 Good points made. in addition you need to clearly display initiative and the ability to add value to the organisation. Being involved in some sort of business also sets you apart from the other candidates. An internet business that does not take up too much of your time and wont affect your committment to the job is a safe bet.
482 i have to watch this for my law degree year 3 Final year PDP class lol
490 @Wishlist2day XD *holding in laughter inside* SO TRUE! Even if you are a college graduate applying a job at a retail shop like MACY'S they still won't hire you because of your education, they look towards your experience. What i've notice from some jobs few of them out there is your personality not what you know.
491 Thank you so much, this is absolutely excellent and is a definite must see for grads. I hear your video and I feel so much more confident now and I was compelled to express my thanks.
494 This video was really helpful..It concise and very informative and procedural statements...I guess it should be watch by the job seeker all over the world.
498 Really great tips, hope to make it through this time, but i have a question: Do u know any site or program which make a simulation for the intrerview with a person and rate them online?
501 Listen! Most is good BUT the part where she says (why do you want the job here?) Answer whats true. Say what you need the job FOR. I need a job. simple as that!!!
506 once, I went for my interview very very well prepared, read up tons of information on the company, and was very confident, but I was interviewing for an administrative role, and I got rejected for the job, reason: I was too outspoken...I guess, it's not always about talking the most during an interview, but whether u formed a connection with the interviewer...good luck to all having an interview!!!
515 I genuinely dont have any weaknesses so the fucking interviewer better be ready to just accept that as my answer.
517 "Why should we hire you?". I HATE, HATE, HATE that one. I feel like the criteria they are going to use to decide who gets the job is based on whose answer is the most original.
525 the best answer at the question of "why should we hire you?" is "because you pay f*cking well!"
526 They ask all of this, they want you to have a bachelors degree and they are only willing to pay you $9.50 per hour. Thought provoking indeed.
529 im worried i have an interview tomorrow and like you im not good with words when under pressure.
532 an IQ test doesn't replicate the demands of a day at work because emotional intelligence is as vital as pure intelligence, unless you work in an attic on your own
534 i'm so worried about my interview because i'm not good words and i lost many jobs with this reason. Tomorrow I'll have an interview and now i'm so worried
538 I wish they could just make everyone take an IQ test instead making them bs their way through the interview.
542 Very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to do this, I'm sure its helpful to anybody that turned to youtube to learn the do's and don't's of a job interview.
545 interviews are a load of bollocks and make the candidate act like someone else. they are so false
547 thank you for this! i just had an epic fail in my final interview in a call center as a HR staff last night T-T they got me at the question, why should we hire you? what is my edge that stands out from others? i practically froze up in front of 5 HR pannels
585 Please don't use this as a model interview for ANY Job application... Even if you're the best looking person in the world! Else you're really going to need that Government Funding soon
587 I wish I competed with these people for a job! W00t I would have a better chance at getting it! LoL
591 Fake. Actors. Some good, some bad, mostly unrealistic. People just don't speak without hesitating like that in real life.
592 that asian cunt at the end sounds like she needs a cock in her mouth. annoying voice
596 haha I wish my interview tomorrow I'll have one person interviewing instead of two. Two just ruins my confidence
600 ugh wasted 3 min. of my time. (till I decided to stop watching) figured it actually might be good. of what NOT to say in an interview. lol
607 Listen at 1. 47 you can hear somebody say action
608 This was funny. It may be fake, since they do say "action", however I'm sure many people have said these things in an interview, and wondered why they never got the job.
615 this should teach those HR interviews - beware of what you ask! They should be more specific and sell the position they are representing fairly and sincerely.
616 LOL this is the greatest video. This is actually how life should be honest. If they WANT honest here it is!! I guess they like us to lie than.
618 My meds. Definitely my meds, and I'm a people person-lol!!!! Classic.
619 they make a non-dairy cheese stick......i don't pass out completely lol
621 even though this is not real, I've met girls who actually are like this, it's weird, lol
622 this is a good learning tool especially for us who are doing to interviews. but im a bit disappointed as i thought this was a REAL DEAL (true, live, real interview events) but it was made by actors. @appman2417 and SandrushS are right check 1:46 and 2:46, you'll hear the words, "action" so if anyone can show us a link of real job interview videos (as we can learn more on real events with real people and real interviewers) ????
625 If you like watching funny job interviews click the link to my channel and watch my video called job interview
626 so fake. It is not passible that ALL the people on the interview is so dump and it is easy to se that this happened in 1 day becaue there is the same ammount of trush in garbage lol
627 Even tho this is really fake, I think it's good entertainment. Couse I bet all of you guys actually saw the whole movie, am I right??
638 I don't care if this video is fake, i never failed a job interview (6-7 so far), i watched this video cause my friend keeps on getting rejected. This video was very funny, likely fake, but it served the purpose of entertaining. Well done.
641 You can see the bloke is just sitting their thinking..."hmm, how long until I can F88K this new secretary? She's so ditzy I can crack that in an hour and a half" - LOL
646 the male one was the best. LOL. Make a lot of money. That's funny. Did that girl get the job? But she was the most professional. Out of all 3 that were there. At least the second one graduate pre-school. Yey, she can count.
648 like at the point she starts talking, i know its totally fake FAKEEEEE!!!
649 2:45 "Okay. Action" I wonder what do interviewers typically encounter... My guess is that it is hard to generalize because of a broad range of applicants. Many thanks for this viewing experience.
650 you can hear them say 'action' @ 2:45 its just a fake pointless
658 watch 3 sec's of it. Definetly FAKE!!! Trust me....Dont waste ur time on this.
662 Like omg this is soo totaly fake.... uggh what a dumb thing to put as an interview omg...waste of my time
667 Come on guys... you can tell this is a parody! It must be a part of a comedy thing. No way it's real...
668 shut up woman! you can tell she is nervous like what has that to do with a job
670 Fuck working for any boss that has to spy from the start. I hope some employee sabotages the fuck outta your business.
675 It is all about the Body language that makes the interviewer understand you better than what you have to say to the person might take you and give a job rather waste their time with you and od something useful an be paid.

744 God why does all the interviewer look so darn hot. It so hard to make eye contact lol.
748 This is one of the worst interviewees I've ever seen. NEVER tell an employer you're considering this job as a downshift- that's a huge insult; and trust me u just came out too douchebag to hire

777 The Behavioral Job Interview process is built on a feminine modality. Men have a hard time adapting to this than women. I blame the feminists in the psychological field for this ridiculous modern day process of today.
780 Fuck this, if another interviewer rejects me i'm gonna rape his fucking wife and force him to watch.
781 @shogan808 good luuccck!!!!!! i've got a job interview for this event managemnt company IMG thats organizing the malaysian open tennis tournament! first interview EVAA! im suuuuper nervous :(

809 @TheAussiefisher i just finished applying to it i hope i get a job just because i need the money
811 My last last job interview, I sharted during the "tell me about yourself" part. The manager I could tell heard it and tried to ignore the sound, as did I. Unfortunately a little bit of feces trickled down my pant leg onto my right oxford, and in a panic I flicked my toe to get it off and a bit of the stinky stuff flecked onto his cheek. Got my fingers crossed to? be called in for the final round at the end of the week.
829 I went to an RSPCA job interview today. I felt like i did bad but they haven't interviewed everyone to make a decision yet. This advice didnt help me one bit lol
830 That may work on , may not. but we have to listen to here, just to learn good English
835 a lot of times, most jobs are "it's who you know, not what you know" Believe me, i had my fair share of that.
845 Denise Richards is looking a little black... Just sayin! Maybe she should lay off the spray tanning! =P
850 @askaf992 whatever happens , if you really want to get it , you should comeback after two week or one month and tell them that i will be back again and again until i get this job .. and get your bred.. thats how you do it .... thats I did it....
853 First thing she should do is flash....that would put a smile to any guy's face. just kidding.
857 # preparation for questions like - Tell me something about yourself - What is your strength - What is ur weakness - Why you want to leave the present job - What can you do for the company if you are selected - Tell me something about your previous( last) work experiences - Salary expectation question comes (only if they are happy with you Still an important question
858 Points # don’t put everything in the resume, make is short and powerful At the same time attach a copy of your work description as a separate one with the title Summary of Experiences. #in the interview provide the answers short and to the point with an attitude of subtleness and aggressiveness for a chance to prove yourself and not to let you out for the potential you have. # dress codes( veryyyyyyyy important), interview time ( 20 mins ) b4 very important

876 @TheSilverBrick1 To a certain point, its REALLY ALL on you, your attitude, just keep an open mind.
892 Yeah, if you're a college graduate don't be nervous at the interview why don't they give REAL tips for REAL jobs????
899 @average220 dude you are not allowed to make such comments, while satisfying lonely truck drivers for couple of bucks, thats just wrong:/
903 You want to be focused and what you want to get and not what you haven;t got now. SOLID PIECE of advice.
905 Why not skip the interview, sign up with the next billion dollar company, Drink the Wolrd's Healthiest Energy Shot Supplement, tell people to get healthy also, and in one of six ways earn a residual income on over 65,000 people a month??? DRINK HEALTH & BUILD WEALTH* Plus get all the great tax advantages of owning your own small business. How does over $300,000 a month sound? not even kidding. This is that 1 in a million shot chance you have found a real 2011 opportunity. Watch my vid
908 Most of these interviewers are annoying they ask a whole bunch of questions, you answer correctly but you still did not get the job. It all comes down to if they like you or not.
921 @TheCozmikTruth...It's just you... being critical... and totally missing the point. Dental police?
924 @strawberriesncandii dude i was lil exited about the interview, so i just replied u funny... i know asking question is the main key :)
925 My best advice for people who have interviews is to ask questions. When they ask you if you have anything to say don't say no. Ask questions about the history of your company. Ask how much guidance they'll be giving to newcomers. Ask about specific responsibilities for the position you're applying to. Don't tense up like I did at the beginning just like the lady said smile and talk about stuff and warm up. It's a two way conversation not just the interviewer talking.
926 @s44dy73 Uhhh yeah. I'm glad I asked that question because the interviewer did ask me for any questions I had regarding the position and thank goodness unlike the 14 other people who who didn't research about the real estate firm I asked questions and I got hired that same day. So for anyone who thinks during these times that they're gonna walk in the interview saying nothing you might as well not show up because that shows lack of interest.
931 so say your asked whe you would be able to start.. and the jobs on only saturday, and you got a holiday thats a whole week startin from the followin saturday.. do you tell em that you can work 2 saturdays from then.. or cancel your holiday to get tha job?
932 the way you shake hands, make eye contact, tone of voice, what color clothing you wear, how you look. No wonder why so many are unemployed.
933 This is fucking bullshit. This is of no use to about 90% of us. Why, because most of us will use advice from what we've gathered over the internet, or from seminars. Employers know this, and have a higher likelihood of dismissing the ones who use these statements because everyone else said the same thing. If you ask me, fuck HR. Companies only use them because their management staff is too lazy to conduct it themselves. Now we have to read about shit like: saying the right thing,
936 I will be having my interview on Wednesday. Damn, I'm so nervous. This video really helps me a lot.
940 also they cut ahours and they dont care bout you its the truth...Bosses dont care about their workers, i have worked for assholes and im glad now i have enough money i dont need to no more.
941 my problem with getting a job is that bosses always try to pressure you when its not even necessery. managers are always against you no matter what you do and ppl always used to the same excuse " its a job, you dont gotta like it" well why dont i gotta like what i do for a living. Its a question of being treated right and with respect but once some one is in charger idk, they feel like they can shit on other ppl
945 'interview is a conversation'. That's what we would like people to take away from this video.
947 @MrNodontdoit I ain`t nervous i just want ot pass.I hardly get any interviews.Gotta make this one count.
950 When you are at the interview don't forget to ask these questions in response to the Interviewer's request for your credit rating, how many kids you have, are you married, what kind of car do you drive, etc. Ask the Interviewer these questions; 1. How solvent is the company? 2. Have any of the executives ever? been accused of a felony? 4. Where will this company be in 5 years? 5. How long will it be before you kick my ass out the door and move all the operations to COMMUNIST China?

961 @iReturnVide0tapes yeah it's ridiculous! Come on adults lets play childish material games. Fucking retarded! The real world is a lie.
962 At the end of the interview, when they ask if you have any questions, ask them: "depending on how fucking well I answer your stupid questions, how is that ever going to demonstrate how intelligent, qualified or hardworking individual I am?
964 @guitarandukuleleplay THIS! That's exactly what my fucking problem is with interviews. I can do the job just fine, it's the stupid interview that I can't seem to get past. What do I wear? What do I ask? How should I act? What answers am I supposed to give? It's just one long regimented, scripted act.
965 before I go to my first interview, I really felt scared but I had this quick idea that if I imagined the interviews as competitions I say to my self "well, it's not that bad, I won't die if I failed" so I took it and succeeded.
966 "What do you feel is your worst quality?" "Well I get violently enraged when people ask me stupid questions."
974 This person really just talks about common sense. For those struggling to actually trying to get an interview, it is actually easy. All you must do is try and seperate yourself from the field. This can be done through networking or utilising many sources on the internet. Just as a starting point anyway. Apparently over 60% of jobs/employees are found through sites like LinkedIn
975 It's improper for Women to shake hands with Men.
977 Interviewing=childish material games where you are judged by what you wear and how you look. Hey lets play the material game and pretend we are something more than what we are, pretend play with adults. Ugh, The real world? No!
980 this tips should help for minmum wage type jobs shouldn't they, I got my first interview coming up so I'm a little nervous.
981 @ikilleduku it is very important to talk about the weather because the weather can decide who get the job..............hahahahahhahahaaaaaaa
987 I graduated from college in 2006 and still can't even get a fucking bottom-of-the-barrell job no matter how hard I try or what I do. I wish I had back all the time and money I wasted on getting a degree. Life sucks.
988 I went to 3 seperate job interviews & when they told me I got the job & what the starting salary was, I was appalled to find it was 50% to 60% less than I was making. I'm talking accounting. I feel if they ask all of my credentials ( which they expect to be outstanding) than I feel only right to ask is, what is the starting. Which, by the way is my last answer. I got the job that I wanted with the salary I was looking for. So for me, asking starting salary is fare during the interview
990 Honestly I would just get that done at BusinessResumes. com because they are really easy to use and they have cheap prices.
993 ALADDIN GEE--I love this video and i don't care who don't keep them coming tight work thumbs up
997 This is great; but media types really DO live in a different world at times. If you want to see some real world tips; check out The Recruitment Guy video blogs on You Tube. Not so slick but very useful

1028 Very useful content. Thank you very much. Just one small problem is the beginning but overall its useful.
1029 I.ve never met a job interviewer that knew what they were doing. THey always hire the wrong people why? because the company always puts the wrong person in charge of the hiring and firing.
1033 I dispise new applications, they ask you 70 questions about yourself, you show that you qualify, then you get an interview for 10 minutes and they ask you all the same shit, then they say "we'll be in touch" which translates to "get the fuck outta my office, i'd rather hire some ignorant shit head that I can give shitty hours to and control better than I can with someone like you" oh yeah, "have a nice day".
1037 Amazing video. Let me follow your channel. Like they say, it's not what you know, it's who you know, or who your blowing.

1062 This is great, but what if you do everything said in this video, but what is the applicant has a felony record from decades ago. People will not even look at you nor provide you with the opoortunity just because. People has the notion that an ex-offender is just like a monster... That they should pay for the rest of their lives... Even though, they have worked hard, obtained their degrees, and even masters degree...
1069 Very useful content. Thank you very much. Just one small problem is the beginning but overall its useful.

1084 Thank you so much, this is absolutely excellent and is a definite must see for grads. I hear your video and I feel so much more confident now and I was compelled to express my thanks.
1091 @lizXoX2008 Nah.. i knew the interviewer knew i was overqualitfied.. but meh. Wish me luck for my other coming up interviews!!
1093 After all the applications and rejections or no call backs, videos like this made me an extreme cynic. I'm sorry. You can be more prepared than God himself, but in this current economy, when CEOs keep sending jobs overseas, unless you move to the underdeveloped country the jobs are going to, what do you do? It's the Reagan era all over again, but at least they were able to recover. All the unemployed went back to work. And this recession still has no end in sight.
1094 one time i was in an interview and the interviewer was the manager and was being a dick all the way through and he was starting to make it clear he won't hire me, so when he asked "what can you bring to us?" i replied your downfall, and that was the end of that.
1097 this is a great video. unfortunately, from my own experience, I've had interviews where I did everything here and still I didn't get the job. in fact, I didn't get a call back. I'm not trying to be pessimistic but I don't like to make assumptions.
1098 I have to say this was a great presentation. Not so much that the information presented was groundbreaking but how it was presented. I just finished my MBA and the counselors I had weren't nearly as enthusiastic.
1101 talk about the weather? TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER? What kinda jobs do you apply for?
1102 talk about how you masturbated the night before and came on your face, start it off with a laugh. If you think you've failed the interview then leave em with something to remember like "blah blah thanks well I got to go now and pick up some medicine to rub on my testicles because I think I got an std" or "I home I make it home time before I shit my pants" that way you don't feel bad
1104 @12331821 sweet dude!! i just gave mine 2 hrs ago. I think i did great only i felt like i was OVER prepared and the interviewer had no idea what she was doing. So i think i balled it in the right places overall :D
1113 omg my communication skills just arnt up to scratch. I cant bs an interviewer
1115 It may be a little creepy if someone is constantly smiling... :) :) :) :) :) :) Soooo... why do you want this job? :) Is that all? No? What else then? :D
1119 The girl answer the questions very nice.. it's like they really in "On going interview".. good tips.. and I'd also like to share some of the related videos from "interviewMasterminds" Channel.. It really helps.
1122 ** for funny actual hidden phone camera footage of real interview in London take a quick look at my channel under documentary playlist, where i secretly film my job interview by resting phone on table against wallet facing interviewer, i thought it would be funny to see the shit that ended up being said, i nearly get caught out
1123 These tips can help anyone who in any market searching for a job I will use it, thank u, god bless
1125 so, in few words, be confident, positive and always smile.
1128 These kids have it together. They are not falling for that corporate bullshit that the company wants you to buy into. They are saying "Hey asshole, get this, we are not going to be screwed with that golden parachute bullshit you fed our parents? and then tossed them under the bus when they hit 50 and you sent all the jobs to the Communist Chinese."
1131 Got an interview later today hope this works! wish me luck
1133 Yes it is, Ive been told this a few times. The reason it is a bad thing is because they are afraid that as soon as you find something better that you will leave. Thus leaving them with a wasted investment while you were being trained.
1135 Overqualified? I might not say "downshift" maybe I would say I am looking for a different challenge
1136 Video artifacts from reflections off her teeth I think. If the light reflects off a flat enough surface it'll relfect the spotlights and bloom the camera's light-sensor.
1137 Some good tips in here. In this market you need to have a diverse search tool to find a job or career. rustylightbulb(.)com worked for me. It's simple and efficient. Good luck
1149 I got a letter from recruiter. According to him, the position is filled. English is not my native language, and I think the recruiter suppose to say: The position has been filled. Am I right or wrong?
1154 Wow! She's a great career coach! She is definitely right! Interview can be very stressful for jobseekers but if there is an icebreaker, you can feel much relax and less nervous. Great job! Also, "jobseeker revolution" video can help you open more job opportunities. Check the video out!
1161 Do you recommend someone NOT to put their higher education on their resume just to get a job?
1167 I love the presenter she is just such a warm presence and Maggie Mistal is great at answering the trick questions. One I hate in an interview is: What can you bring to this role? Er, I don't know...Myself? LOL
1180 Hi,i 'm a senior middle school student from China .I have a great interest in Rand Corporation and I wanna work there in the future .Can you recommend some majors i can pick ? thanks.
1182 @BoomerNavy70 This is the result of past ... government that has made such policies and strategies, which accordingly has to be change accordingly to the senario. I don't pay for any health insurance here. Its my wish. We have all varities and flavours avaiable. There are charitable hospital, government hospital, and inexpensive clinics. And for job , my parents take my care, to the extent they can.. You should come here in India. Worship God and accept what he has for u
1189 Well I worked in a womene dominated work place for the past 10 years and because of that I told my self I'll take some time off just like they do, Besides I did all the work while they did nothing but bitch and complain, so I'm still in the recuperation period of my life from all the torment that they gave me and insults that they told me for no apparent reason.

1191 Wow, this vid was great. Lots of useful info! I bet you know a site called SUPERJOB4U . com cause it also provides lots of great info on how to find a super job!
1197 I agree with her! In a job interview, you should hinder yourself from telling negative about your previous company. If you? can't be honest about it, better keep your answer short and don't go too much into details. And btw everyone, check out the "jobseeker revolution" video!! You might get some insights in it.
1198 Another question to ask... #5 - Why are you interviewing me, or why are you even here, when you can't understand my science-intensive resume? Katie, you realize you're expendable right? Some companies would be better off without you morons....
1200 When the Human Resources Director (The Gate Keeper) is finished with her/his questions you start asking yours. #1 - How long have you been hiring H1B workers and filling everyones head with the bullshit that you can not find qualified people here in the US? #2 - Why is my health insurance going to cost me seven hundred dollars a month? #3 - Why is it that if I am on salary you want me to work 75 hours a week for a 40 hour wage? #4 - And why will I be out on my ass after I hit 45?
1210 Call me at 504-256-6562, My name is David Wedge and I am hiring experianced and non experianced crane operators at top dollar with top benefits. Paid training provided. $28.00 plus an hour right now!
1211 So that people like yourself, who are too entrenched in status quo thinking, will (hopefully) question an 18th-century "method" for "discerning" the "best candidate" in a 21st century global economy (where competition is the name of the game) will think for a change and stop automatically justifying what is questionable. Its not about me or the interviewer...its about what makes logical sense in the Grand Scheme. Just because something is reality doesn't make it right.
1212 i still feel you are missing the point on the Why of a good interview -(if you had ever been the interviewer i would find your comments more valid) sadly they just make you sound disgruntled -- let us agree to disagree.--- i have 1 question tho- if you are so adamant on their uselessness, why do you watch these vids in the first place-
1213 If "interviewing" is so "crucial," why is it that so many American companies are hiring & more illegal and recent Mexican/Central American immigrants...is it because of their "perfect" command of the English language & "awesome" interviewing skills, or is it that they work harder for less? An "interview" wouldnt have indicated this. Interviewing is STILL bullshit...it's just decision makers are too blinded by their own "abilities" to see this fact.
1214 ...which only goes to show why so many American employers are falling by the wayside and so many foreign competitors are surpassing American productivity. American employers are seeking the best actors, while foreign companies are going after the best workers. Most decision makers are idiots. Look at all the Mexican workers more American companies are hiring-they arent being hired because of their "perfect" command of English or "interviewing skills" Its about the fact they work well. Checkmate
1215 the psychology of an interview very important to most interviewers. if 10 apps have the same skill sets - the interview is what sets 1 apart from the crowd . if that is old fashioned so be it. its what gets the job & THAT is what the whole bit is about. if U dont want the job dont do the interview - its that simple. . when you realize its not about U, its about what They want, then U may be more successful.
1216 Spoken like someone unable to think outside of an old, outdated paradigm. You still havent justified how answering questions indicates potential job performance. The "selection" process is too subjective to have any real credibility. They should focus on more substantive things like grades, ambition, experience, ability...things that matter and truly indicate how well someone would work, not how "well someone fits in." You may as well be using tea leaves!
1217 an interview IS important - they may have LOTS of applicants who can do the job but they need the interview to see who will fit into the team the best. you may not like it but to them its IMPORTANT. there are enought problems in a job environment that they want to prevent more.- they Want team players & if you go into the interview with this negative kind of attitude you wont get the job because of it. - simple fact of life.
1220 A job interview is the biggest crock of sh*t in the world. There is no earthly reason that anyone with half a brain cannot look at a resume and determine whether or not someone has the skills/experience someone needs to fill a position...its nothing more than a personality assessment. What does answering questions have to do with how well I'm able to actually do a job? So I can answer a question...doesnt mean I know how to sweep a floor or wash a window.
1222 nowadays where every employer receives hundreds of resumes, this is a mute point. The only time you get invited for an interview is if you are perceived to be a PERFECT match. Period
1231 if there are gaps, can't you just lie on your resume and say that you worked at the jobs longer than you actually did to fill in the gaps?
1239 Really? If she was my interviewer, I'd feel really comfortable.
1243 I would like to? recommend you an ebook which helped me to find a job , I bought it on Amazon (very cheap) you have to write in search the title 30 MOST COMMON INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS (by Anna Piekarczyk), it's really worth buying and learning from for your job interview in English

1252 @Pariah2001 We live in a robotic society, sadly its true, just as true as we live in a violent, corrupt society. Humans are no where near perfect, and are scum, and people that try to make a change get killed, humans are the filth of the world.

1260 Notice how she gave absolutely no examples of anything she talked about? This answer would not get her hired. You need to get specific.
1261 Interviews are so BS that we need to watch videos to do well on them and complain the whole time. I hate them too but I think more than a resume is needs to see if a person is the best fit. I don't see reason why people should not be able to view the interview form about a day ahead of the interview for behavioral questions because I can't scan my whole work history in 10 seconds to find the scenario that fits your question.
1263 @Pariah2001 65 thumbs up so far, you are on to something. Common sense should be a basic job qualification.
1264 Part-time HKD 5000-8000, Full-time HKD 12000-15000, no interview needed, make your computer work for you, more detail please visit careerpathhk(.net)
1265 Exactly! American job interview is not very productive. In most European countries do not ask uncomfortable questions. Not everyone is a good orator like Barak Obama with a teleprompter. Additionally, you do not have to write adjectives in CV (European style resume). Basically, you have to sell your paper resume and your responses in America, not your talent and skills.
1268 is there a need for a formal interview as a bagger or a re packer in a certain company?
1271 I farted like a machine gun in my last job interview..and got the job!! check out my "looking for work video"

1277 @Pariah2001 I agree, i'm about to go to my first one for a temp job through a DVR thing and i'm freaking out. I just know they're going to try stumping me and make me look stupid.
1282 Your insight is great - I for one would really appreciate some EXTENDED videos about interview process and other similar advice.
1284 This is very useful clip.. Thank You Very straightforward and crisp - you are truly a genius at what you do!
1292 Amazing clip. I hear many times. Tks again.

1303 Very useful content. Thank you very much. Just one small problem is the beginning but overall its useful.
1304 my ideal job: get a Lamborghini as a company car, only have to work 3 hours a week, have several hot secretaries. 250k a year.
1305 Your insight is great - I for one would really appreciate some EXTENDED videos about interview process and other similar advice.
1308 The absolute best insight I have ever received into the interview process. Very straightforward and crisp - you are truly a genius at what you do!
1310 Thank you so much, this is absolutely excellent and is a definite must see for grads. I hear your video and I feel so much more confident now and I was compelled to express my thanks.
1312 @Gingersnap2323 well but you can prepare yourself and tell the interviewer what he / she wants to hear. human resources representatives have a bad knowledge of human nature. ;-)))
1313 @Schlandhaubitze I very much agree with you..all these videos I have been watching on interviewing are mostly a crock of shit, they are just saying what the interviewer "wants" to hear...I mean really, such a make shift "professional" like interview for someone applying for a simple administrative assistant position? aka: receptionist job? Not digging on it but really now, who WANTS to do this type of job forever & they are making it seem like some kind of corporate job...blah
1315 I guess I could say I could do any thing that your current employees are doing now. Because I know for a fact their just a bunch of lazy bastards that got hired because they knew the right person.

1319 It is interesting to see that HR managers in the USA ask the same stupid pseudo - psychological questions and get the same dull memorised answers like in germany... ;-) did she get the job and what is the point of such stupid standard questions?
1322 Here we go again.......I believe my thoughts on what I consider to be an ideal job is inline with most people, I want to enjoy my career and its rewards that will enhance my life/work balance. I have a real passion for this industry and am very comfortable with it being my ideal job/role/destiny/ blah blah blah................................
1323 Very Interesting answer! it is quite helpful. I also check "jobseeker revolution" video. Another helpful video. check it out. *thumbs up*

1325 And while you are at it get that whiney voice off the videos that keeps going...Ammmmm! IMPRESSIVE ANSWER. She sounds like some hooker talking to a John. She could just as easily be saying...Ammmmm! IMPRESSIVE WALLET. If we had this woman's voice in Iraq we could get the Terrorist to give up everything after listening to her for 10 minutes. Military Intelligence: "Okay, where are your colleagues?" (Que Voice) Terrorist after 5seconds. "There are 5000 of them over the next hill."
1326 It would be the job were people like you don't blow smoke up my ass and tell me that its only a 40 hour week when its 80. Or that when Mary or Pete are leaving early to go watch their kids play soccer that I have to pick up the slack and do their jobs while they get paid twice as much. Or chewing my ass out for putting a meal on my expense account while the Executives are driving around in BMW's provided by the company. Or when paying for my own health benefits is considered a perk.
1327 In this bad job market, should I let the people interviewing molest me? They usually ask me to suck cock. My father molests me all the time :-( rape.
1329 Just Be yourself. if people don't like you being yourself fuck em you don't need em and it's there lost.
1333 Hilarious and ironic that she says one of her strengths is proofreading and then the word "strengths" is misspelled a second later on the text!!!
1335 I work in banking and all you need to do is play golf with the right people, and buy your suits from the right store. Sell an illusion that your just like them and your golden. Education and intelligence are really not needed.
1337 I think I would marry this girl on the spot. Very cute!
1340 Lol, yea, I'd rather not be interviewed for job, but a person could have a terrible personality---especially if they haven't had a job before, they need an interview
1341 Sometimes the personality is part of the position. People need to know if you are presentable and can work with others. An example is a computer tech...sure you can hire the guy who knows everything but if he dresses like a slob, smells bad, and treats people poorly then you wouldn't want him representing your organization.
1343 sales guys get alot of pussy....its part of the job description, like lawyers, HR guys or should i say gays get alot of sex for giving out jobs and great pay......traveling jobs used to be paid vacations, UNFORTUNATELY TECH HAS all the road warriors too damn connected since 12 years ago,,,,driving highway ONE and your boss calls you on your cell phone really sours your paid vacation.
1344 she was lying 98% of the time, top left looking
1346 A job interview is the biggest crock of sh*t in the world.
1348 yeah.. i dont know why she makes so much face.. may be she does the same thing when she gives blow job
1350 Actually, being a woman, or handicapped, or a minority, or any other label is crucial to finding work. These qualifications will not only keep you from getting laid off, they will also automatically find you any job you'd like! Education, being a veteran, not doing drugs, volunteering, a number of things you do have control of, usually have no bearing in the hiring process. So, concentrate on your politically correct advantages and stress those at the your next job interview! Good luck!
1351 She's ok but she kept making this stupid facial expression
1353 Looking top left during the interview is suggestive of lying ! She is a liar dont hire her
1354 The interviewer will ask a question while looking at the job application. Two critical things: 1. They will be reading the application in detail, while you speak. Penmanship, thoroughness, and sound/ pitch/ tempo of applicants voice. 2. Interviewer will listen, knowing the applicant is watching them read. Does the applicant maintain focus on answering the question asked vs. applicants attempting to define details in the written application to the interviewer. Focus on the question asked.
1361 Working for a team that rewards poor performance with excessive bonuses and rapid promotions. In others words, every financial firm in the country.
1362 You're right. Human Resources should take all the applicants for a particular job, put their names in a hat, and let the good old laws of probability decide who gets the position.
1364 she should had an eye to eye contact in the interviewer,,, she answered question correctly and its a very reliable source of what truly she is in terms of working... but keeping her eyes looking into the ceiling makes the interviewer think that there is writings up there and she just reading it.....blahblahblah... but if i were her, i don't know maybe i couldn't answer that and remains quiet....that's the biggest weakness that i have... i hope i could overcome it...
1365 she is ok, but rolling her eyes up to the celling is not really good....it shows she is thinking, and there is nothing wrong with that, but on the other hand, if she cut her story in half, she could keep her eye contact where it should be.
1370 Hi everybody, I'm a girl I'm 18, and i live in france. I search a job in compagny in England ( personal assistant for a training period) if somebody is interested, send me a message
1373 too much looking up- looks like she is unsure of her answers..maintain eye contact or look around the room at eye level. Not up.
1374 those sound bite voice shits at the start are annoying
1376 This is quite possibly the best explanation I've found on body language. However, I will comment that most of us have grown up with being told that strong eye contact (without looking psychotic) is good and portrays confidence. I believe at this point, people are more used to eye contact and many won't feel uncomfortable by it due to frequent experience. However, I agree that you notice if someone is not used to it and seems intimidated. At this point it is a good to look away periodically.
1377 thanks, very good stuff, at times we usually forget about what our bodies are saying, and it totally gives us away, thanks i'll be more sensitive to my clients...now
1381 Sorry for the delay, it's my first day back in the office. What you suggest makes a lot of sense and I'm writing a an explanation that I will put up on YouTube soon. I will offer a few different ideas that might help. Best wishes -Peter
1382 HEY There, We was wondering over here about when you talked about Business; talking about or asking questions to see there normal BL then when you go into deeper matters you can tell and be prepared. Well The question is "Whats A Really Good way To Present a good close non-verbally i hear asking and silence, but as far as Your Ideas on that, over-all Would be helpful because of the way you explain and express it...
1385 Excellent video, I am just about to run a training session for a group of sales executives and this really does give me a great structure for the session. Thank you
1389 Another EXCELLENT video by Peter Clayton. I have studied many aspects of body language in business over the years and can always rely on Peter to provide superb insights, hints and tips, all backed up by real life experience.
1392 General comment, Now you know, because that's what i read at many different ways and it fit''s more to understanding each other to talk, but that have not always! That''s why i clicked this good video on!
1394 At last, a scientific reason as to why my housemate's ridiculous tendency to stand square on and stare when not even saying anything makes me dislike him so much, almost feel a bit aggressive towards him. I wonder if something's not right about this guy. Once when I was coming home from work he laughed and said "I walked and I STILL got home before you!". I laughed back and said "What a loser". He actually followed me into my room and said "how does that make me a loser?". So irritating.
1396 I would just like to say thankyou for this presentation and also for the way it was presented. It was very clear and easy to follow. Best regards
1402 Better still, read Body Language at Work by Peter Clayton. Brilliant for business body language.
1403 Saw Peter in action live this week and learnt so much helpful stuff. And so entertaining. Brilliant.
1407 Useful tips. Found the section on eyes very helpful. Will need to take note of where I stare in future.
1410 I like the bit about the eyes. Very useful.
1411 This is really good stuff whether you want to improve your own body language, or if you want to adopt some tactics to get your own back on the people who intimidate you. I'm making my list of "victims" right now!
1412 This is a really helpful video. I'm definitely using the "intimidating stare" on a few of my teachers at school! Do you think that when people move their hands alot, they're covering something up? Also most people can't look you in the eye when they're lying, my mom and dad do the opposite - they look directly into my eyes. Is that just a parent thing though? Great vid!
1413 This is the first bodylanguage video I've watched where you can actually make use of what it shows you. Others seem to be entertaining, but lacking in practical use. Looking forward to reading the book now.
1414 This is an excellent introduction to body language. Very helpful tips for enhancing daily interactions. I've been very impressed with other training material that I've seen of Peter's so I was particlarly pleased to find this clip. Well done!!
1415 read What Every BODY is saying by Joe Navarro, 2008. Really good book on body language, Ive read four diff books and this one is the best.
1416 I've read quite a bit about bodylanguage and this is the first time I've found something really useful that explains how to make use of different signals.
1417 Some good body language pointers here. I shall definitely be using the "intimidating stare" on a few people I know!
1418 A very useful introduction to body language in work. I have already decided to subtly change my handshake, and will use this as a reference in the future. Thank you for sharing this.
1419 Most informative. He knows what he's talking about and you can make practical use of it straight away. Thanks.
1420 Very helpful! I feel ready to take on the boss in the new year now!
1425 These are pure theories and not entirely true...it can be bad habits that mean nothing. Everyone is different and you can be well trained to hide insecurities, business people and politicians are well trained to do this, otherwise you will never make it to the top.
1427 great now we all change our gestures ,!!! i mean WTF are you talking about , these are theories i put my hand on nose always when am loughing to hide my freaking toth who make me look silly!!!! am alway handshaking with the outher hand on the person hand thump up guys if you feel i was onest and telling the truth
1429 @elliotflorian Of course we can never, as far as we know, read the internal thoughts of another directly. And reading movements can be flawed. However, if you see habitual movements when presented with certain stimuli, especially if there are multiple gestures, you can find it very reliable. Of course it's not perfect; the guy could be a superb bluffer.
1430 they are a little easier to spot but microexpressions are more specific
1431 @funnyman2150 No, micro gesture are way easier to spot.
1433 So many of these need to be tested and have situations added to it in order to teach why it represents what she is saying. If there isn't any practical application and proof of how certain postures can mean two or more different things then almost any gesture can be misinterpreted. Much more analysis and presentation is needed for it to be true.
1438 @elliotflorian It can be tested scientifically, and many psychologists study just this type of stuff. None the less, I don't know if she actually had a source or made this up. Most of it sounds accurate, but some of it I'd need to see a source to back it up.
1439 Basically you are saying that you feel that this is what people are communicating. Because one can never know what the internal processes of another person is... All you can see is that people move their bodies, the rest is assumption, with that said you can become very good at assuming things... ;-)
1441 Really great video but at 4.43 I couldn't make out what was being said. "This higher the hands are clenched together the worse the person ?????????" The worse the person inten ds??
1446 if the person scratches thier nose it means thier nose is itchy... not its not, they are just waiting for an opportunity to pick their nose :))))) just kidding... good video :)
1447 I'm guilty of every single last one of the negative ones, and I use not a single positive one. Gee thanks.
1448 O.K. fine I have managed much through assessing gestures correctly and hands over the mouth are not always liars, they can be a way not to remember something unpleasant etc., or to stop sudden pains in the jawbones,
1449 I have never seen a person cover their mouth when they lie. If anything, I've seen them hide their hands, and tuck their chins in.
1459 @kelnology the higher the hands, the worst is the mood the person is in
1460 can anyone tell me what she said at around 4:44 about "the higher the hands clenched togather the ______ ?? i can't hear what she says..
1465 Thanks that was great, I got what I was looking for. I now know what that lady was communicating to me subconsciously the other day.
1467 This is why baseline behaviors must be established first. When you know how the person normally behaves, you can interpret the non-verbal cues. That's the hard part for me.
1468 Guys/Girls, This is accurate information, however you have to understand that there will sometimes be logical explanations. Via: Their nose itches, or if their cold. But you have to do some logical thinking. If it's warm in the room, or if the person itches their nose allot.
1469 i cross my arms not because im insecure or cold, but because its comfortable haha
1472 What does it mean when someone puts their hand under their armpit then flaps the armpit arm up & down rapidly?
1475 i have a habit of putting my pinkie over my mouth with the rest of my fingers on my cheek, usually when im trying not to laugh or when im getting in trouble....is that common?
1476 in reality this person has no clue of reality on hand cues
1477 I love this video! Thanks for making it :) I've realised that I do some of these gestures a lot, and the meanings match up to the reasons why I do them.. it's so damn accurate, haha. What does two hands on your hips tell us?
1479 that's rite, an erectile tissue itches in the nose as it is a physiological reaction to deception (lying). so yes 'Cathrynwoohoo', the nose is itchy bcos they r probably lying
1481 I like listening to your voice.... You're my favorite source of body language referencing
1484 Hi Simona wow quite impressive with the interpretation of boy language i was hoping you could send so more video
1487 @Cathrynwoohoo if they tell a lie blood rushes to surface of the skin on the face, it's just the body's natural reaction, and when the blood is close to the skins surface it causes the skin to itch. the main places the blood gets close to the skins surface is nose, back of the neck, ear and eyes. so they could just have a itchy nose or it could be itchy due to a lie. thats why you always have to looks for signs of lying or signals in clusters. That way it's a more accurate reading.
1491 but but, i always touches my nose because it itches!!! i got sinus.. :( and whenever i lie, i'll give a grin/smirk.... ahahaha. THANK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION!!
1495 when people can understand body language of others, they are more close to succes their social part
1498 @petenlpsecrets and coupling this with microexpressions reading (and some other things)... you're on your way to being a lie detector :D
1500 Extremely useful - body language is such a universal language therefore so useful to learn. Thanks for the video!
1503 have a couple of questions about my ussual hand movements 1.i ussualy have my hands on the desk, making my hands hold each other by the fingers and cover my mouth. 2.what about whne i usually rub or get my thumb finger by my mouth.(it doesn't exactly go in so i suck on it but i just have it rest on my lips). 3.can you talk more about sitting posture and head or eye movements plz
1511 Zac you are entitled to your opinion, but even science concludes that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Science just doesnt have the tools to establish existence of ESP. For myself I have had premonitions/dreams that have become reality. The communication I experience is not so much a specific thoughts but a form of emotional energy/feelings or intuition. You are probably correct a bond between mother/child may enhance this link. I also believe in a divine creator.
1513 Everybody likes to think they have some special connection with their children, pets, siblings, etc. I can imagine that spending a lot of time with an autistic non verbal child would play tricks on the mind. Possibly clouding your judgement? Autistic's are different, so they pick up on different body language, since no one knows what that language is they can't fake it. There is no such thing as esp, it's a fairy tale just like Santa Claus and god.
1515 My friend, I have two autisitic children one who is non-verbal, he totally reacts to my emotional energy and to the emotions of others, I have done a lot of work on keeping my energy and thoughts poisitive, my children have acted as a mirror to my thoughts. You can also see this in certain Neurotypicals, especially children. We are all connected, Autistics are extra sensitive, they can sense when a person is genuine or not. - I agree with Laruschoades - no need to drink bong water LOL Peace
1517 My freind is always asking me why I cover my mouth so much and I didn't know why, no one else ever said anything. Now I know it is because I disagree with a lot of the things he says.
1521 Person´s Energy tells more about him than any body language, BL can be learned and faked, Energy can not. I´ve been watching how autistic people react to different people and learned from them, I can stand in the exact same position and change my thought and they react to me differently almost immediately. There is a basic law of the Universe saying that "Energy Follows Thought" Body Language is just the beginning. Yes you can learn it first, there are many sub-dynamics below that.
1523 Cool, Thanks for the video post. I have often wondered about hand gestures but not to the point of researching them. I had no idea on some of these. :)
